Awash Bank, Ethiopia’s pioneering personal bank, was established on November 10, 1994 after the downfall of the socialist regime. The Bank was mounted by 486 founding shareholders with a paid-up capital of Birr 24.2 million and started banking operations on Feb. 13, 1995.

Position 1: Relationship Manager – Governmental Enterprise I

Qualification & Experience:

• BA Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline plus a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in banking sector, three (3) of which is at a supervisory role.

Job Summary:

• The job holder is responsible for attracting new customers’ strengthening and managing the monetary relationship with existing customers to meet given targets in useful resource mobilizations and ensuring that assigned customers are getting the right provider at the right time.

• He/she is responsible for selling designed merchandise for the sector, and enhance the value-add relationship with existing and new customers.

• This incorporates prospecting and obtaining new customers and pursuing incremental business within the present customers, as well as managing customer expectations to sustain the enterprise relationship.

Position 2: Relationship Manager – Institutional Banking I

Qualification & Experience:

• BA Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field plus a minimum of eight (8) years’ trip in banking sector, three (3) of which is at a supervisory role.

Job Summary:

• The job holder is responsible for attracting new customers’ strengthening and managing the financial relationship with existing clients to meet given targets in resource mobilizations and ensuring that assigned clients are getting the right service at the right time.

• He/she is accountable for selling designed products for the sector, and enhance the value-add relationship with current and new customers. This incorporates prospecting and acquiring new customers and pursuing incremental enterprise within the existing customers, as well as managing patron expectations to sustain the business relationship.

Position 3: Relationship Manager – Institutional Banking II

Qualification & Experience:

• BA Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related area plus a minimum of nine (9) years’ experience in banking sector, three (3) of which is at the supervisory role.

Job Summary:

• The job holder is accountable for attracting new customers’ strengthening and managing the financial relationship with existing customers to meet given objectives in resource mobilizations and ensuring that assigned customers are getting the proper service at the right time.

• He/she is responsible for promoting designed products for the sector, and enhance the value-add relationship with existing and new customers. This accommodates prospecting and acquiring new customers and pursuing incremental business inside the existing customers, as well as managing customer expectations to maintain the business relationship.

Qualification & Experience:

Job Summary:

• The job holder is responsible for attracting, deepening and managing financial relationship to meet deposit and loans boom goals, achieve business growth for the Bank with the aid of selling Corporate Banking Unit products within assigned sector, and by means of promoting and selling other merchandise and services of the Bank to enhance value-add relationship with existing customers.

Qualification & Experience:

Position 7: Branch Manager Class III Branch

Qualification & Experience:

• BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics or related self-discipline plus minimum of 9 years of relevant banking experience of which three years in a supervisory position.

Skills Requirement: Knowledge of computer operation is mandatory
