Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia New Vacancy Announcement: Safaricom Ethiopia is searching for a qualified person who meets the standards indicated below.

Position 1: Manager Back Office IT

Job Requirement:

· University Degree in an Information Technology associated field.

· 5-8 years’ experience as a senior support analyst in a User Support environment.

· ITIL Certifications or Equivalent.

· Microsoft Certification: MCSE, MCSA, MCP

· CISCO Certification: CCNA

· Experience in Virtualized systems

· Experience in Microsoft SCCM and associated software Deployment tools

· Ability to Project Desktop hardware and software requirements.

· IT Projects Management.

· Experience In Capex and Opex Management

· four year experience in Supplier/Vendor Management, IT Support Services sourcing and contract value monitoring & Agreements Maintenance

· Good stakeholder management skills

· Excellent People Skills.

· People Management

· Customer Obsessed.

Job Responsibility:

• Responsible for timely transport of quality IT End User Device support throughout Safaricom, implementation of strategic and innovative desktop applied sciences as per business objectives whilst collaborating with business companions to rollout IT business solutions as required. Ensure provider requests are fulfilled within defined OLA’s/SLA’s and beautify timely service delivery.

Position 2: Manager – Back Office IT O365

Job Requirements:

• BS or MS in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.

• ITIL Certifications or Equivalent.

• Microsoft Certification: MCSE, MCSA, MCP

• Proficient appreciation of Microsoft 365 Platform, architecture and functionality

• Experience in Virtualized systems

• Experience in Microsoft SCCM and related software program Deployment tools

• IT Projects Management.

• 4-6 years’ experience as a senior support analyst in a User Support environment

• Experience In Capex and Opex Management

• Experience in Supplier Management, IT Support Services sourcing and contract fee monitoring & Agreements Maintenance

• Good stakeholder management skills

• Excellent People Skills.

• People Management

• Solution Oriented.

• The position holder will design, build, supply and support the office IT O365 platform that will be used via Corporate end users .

• The platform will be used to consistently deliver on Safaricom’s Back Office IT operations and ensure verbal exchange and collaborations across teams.
